Both, your choice. You can plug in your own provider keys and pay them directly, or run inference through the EigenVertex gateway, which comes with included token bundles plus pay-as-you-go beyond that. You can also mix the two — your keys for some agents, the gateway for others.
Starter runs the first circle only — Phronêsis, Logos, Epistêmê, Technê — with community docs and your own LLM keys. Self-Hosted unlocks the full ten-agent orchestra across every surface (humans and agents alike), the EigenVertex gateway option, automatic updates and email support — while staying on your own infrastructure. Starter is a 30-day free trial; Self-Hosted is the ongoing subscription that keeps the full platform running.
Every plan gives you both sides of the platform: the human surfaces (Eigen Studio, Eigen Scanner, Projects & Meetings, Eigen Companion) and the agent surfaces (native API, an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, exportable md files, programmatic access to corpora & projects). API and agent access are included in every paid plan.
Yes. Starter is already a self-hosted deployment, so there's no data migration involved — upgrading unlocks the full ten-agent orchestra, the gateway option and support on the same instance.
We're finalising the supported-provider list — this answer is a placeholder and will be updated with the confirmed set.
